The Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias is in the southern part of Yosemite National Park near the South Entrance off Highway 41 — about 32 miles (roughly an hour) south of the town of Mariposa. Park at the arrival area and walk, bike, or take the free shuttle to the grove. A Yosemite entrance fee applies (about $35 per vehicle). Allow a few hours.
