With views of Half Dome, North Dome, Upper Yosemite Fall, and Washington Column, Stoneman Meadow is an excellent spot for sunset and for appreciating the area's rich meadow ecology. In mid-to-late summer, watch Hooker's evening primrose blossoms open at dusk, attracting sphinx moths to their bright yellow blooms. Tips & Seasonal Information Stay on designated paths and boardwalks to protect fragile meadow ecosystems! This area can be reached year-round. Boardwalks may be very slippery from frost or snow in winter. To reach this meadow, take the free shuttle to Curry Village, or park your vehicle in nearby Curry Village or in designated roadside parking. Parking or driving on vegetation is prohibited.
